The UKBT is delighted to announce the Hendy Motor Group as the headline event partner for the Bournemouth Grand Slam Finals on September 8-10th.
With a heritage spanning more than 160 years, Hendy represents more than 20 manufacturers in 57 locations across the south and south west with more than 1,700 colleagues and a turnover in excess of £1billion.
People in Dorset will be no strangers to Hendy, with its familiar flags spread across various
dealerships in the Bournemouth area, and while the company has partnered with a number of sports such as cricket, football, and golf, this will be the first beach volleyball event Hendy has supported.
The financial contribution will not only help benefit the overall sustainability of the event but
enhance the fan and athlete experience by facilitating a full grandstand on center court for
spectators to enjoy the competition. The Hendy name will also feature on the athlete uniforms.
Jake Sheaf, founder and director of the UK Beach Tour, is thrilled to see the partnership come to life this weekend:

Hendy Group director – commercial operations Mark Busby said the opportunity to be involved in the event gives Hendy the chance to reach new audiences:
“Events like this are ideal to showcase the wide range of manufacturers we represent locally including Maserati, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan and our latest acquisition of Vauxhall in Poole,” said Mark.
The event will run from 8-10th September with the medal matches taking place form 1pm on
Sunday afternoon; Entry is free for all spectators, with an onsite bar and DJ available throughout the tournament.
