London Grand Slam is Coming This August

The UKBT Grand Slam is heading to London this 28–30 August, as SideOut Leyton welcomes the nation's best beach volleyball teams for three days of elite competition, as part of a huge four-day beach volleyball festival.

The London Grand Slam is the grand finale of the UK national beach volleyball championships, bringing the country's top teams together to battle for the prestigious title of UK Champion.

Qualification gets underway from 1pm on Friday, followed by main draw pool play from 9am on Saturday. Sunday sees the knockout stages and medal matches, with the finals expected around 3–4pm.

But there's much more to the weekend than what's happening on court. The London Beach Volleyball Festival runs from 28–31 August, with free entry and activities for all ages, including come-and-try volleyball sessions, an open grass area, food, music and a post-tournament party.
