The UK Beach Tour is delighted to announce that We Are Weymouth and Ultra Maritime will return as joint title sponsors of the 2026 Weymouth Grand Slam, continuing their support of one of the UK's premier beach volleyball events.

Taking place from 24–26 July on Weymouth Beach, the Grand Slam forms the centrepiece of an expanded five day festival of Beach Volleyball, which also includes the inaugural Ultra Maritime Crown Services Championships and the returning Corporate Beach Volleyball Championships. Together, the events will bring elite athletes, service personnel, local businesses and the wider community together for a week of competition, collaboration and celebration of volleyball on the Dorset coast.

As one of the highlights of the UK Beach Tour calendar, the Weymouth Grand Slam attracts many of the nation's top beach volleyball players, all competing for valuable ranking points, prize money and one of the sport's most prestigious domestic titles. The tournament also continues the proud tradition of the Weymouth Beach Volleyball Classic, Britain's longest-running beach volleyball event, first established in 1983.

Jake Sheaf, CEO of the UK Beach Tour, said:

"We're incredibly excited to be returning to Weymouth for another fantastic week of beach volleyball. Every year the event continues to grow, and 2026 represents another major step forward with the addition of the Ultra Maritime Crown Services Championships and the continuation of the Corporate Beach Volleyball Challenge.”

Graham Perry, Chair of the Board at We Are Weymouth, said:

"We're delighted to be backing the Grand Slam again as joint title sponsor alongside Ultra Maritime. Events like this matter to Weymouth far beyond the beach itself – they fill our hotels, restaurants and cafes during a key week of the summer, and put the town in front of a national audience as one of the best stretches of coastline in the country.

"With the Crown Services Championships and the Corporate Beach Volleyball Challenge now part of the week too, this has grown into something that touches the whole community, not just the volleyball world."

Jake also comments, "We're also incredibly grateful to Ultra Maritime and We Are Weymouth for their support. Their investment enables us to continue growing the event and delivering an unforgettable week of beach volleyball on one of the UK's most spectacular beaches."

Ultra Maritime also returns as joint title sponsor of the Grand Slam, alongside its title partnership of the brand new Crown Services Championships, reinforcing its commitment to supporting major sporting events that benefit the local community and create lasting opportunities for participants and spectators alike.

Together with our partners, we're looking forward to delivering another unforgettable week of beach volleyball, showcasing the very best of the sport while continuing to strengthen Weymouth's reputation as one of the UK's leading destinations for major beach sporting events.

More information about the 2026 Weymouth Grand Slam and the full week of Beach Volleyball will be announced over the coming weeks.
