Ever thought about stepping onto the sand with a whistle instead of a ball?

Volleyball England are running Grade 4 Beach Referee courses this season, with practical assessments taking place at selected UK Beach Tour events. It’s a chance to gain hands-on experience in a live competition environment, right in the middle of the action.

The Grade 4 qualification is the entry-level beach referee award and is open to players, coaches, volunteers and beach volleyball enthusiasts. No indoor referee qualification is required.

The course includes:

• Pre-course learning

• Online classroom sessions

• Online assessment

• Practical refereeing at live beach competitions, including selected UKBT tournaments, with guidance from referee developers
